I am so excited to tell you that Merle's Dance Place will be moving in a new
direction!  After much thought and prayer, I have decided to sell the business to
former students and colleagues.  Beth Easler Bradley and Jamie Peeler Osteen
will be taking the reins of the studio. I have known both of these girls a long time
and am so pleased to see the studio turn over to their hands. Twenty-three years
is a long time to be in business and it is wonderful for me to see it pass on to the
next generation and continue to grow.

The new studio will be named Relevé Performing Arts Center. Relevé is a ballet
term meaning
"to rise". It will also be in a new location: the old cookie factory on
Brooklyn Avenue (address 707 Brooklyn Ave.). I will still be teaching classes
there and look forward to continuing my relationship with all of you.

I hope you will join me in my excitement as I and the studio enter this new chapter
in our lives!

Dancingly yours,

Miss Merle
